FWD Pop Up Camper on Military Trailer

I am selling Project Backpack to make way for a new project. It consists of a restored / improved M-101 trailer with a FWD pop up camper bolted in. I can separate the pair, but the trailer can't go before the camper.

The 101 Trailer has new parts installed to include:
-LED lights
-crank down tongue jack
-dual rear scissor jacks
-front kick stand wheel

The parking brakes are still in place and work well. The wheel wells were widened to make room for the camper. The seems were sealed and the whole trailer (even the bottom) was professionally painted. This trailer is solid as Sears:

The FWD camper is the older over the cab model. It is too wide for newer trucks. The canvas, screens, and windows are good ($1,400 if you needed to have FWD replace it). The top functions freely and easily. The exterior is solid but the cabinets / sink / stove / cooler are stripped in preparation for new stuff. The previous owner strengthened the floor by adding plywood to the bottom and screwing up into 2 x 4s. Kinda redneck. I added caulking to 4 small holes on the roof where a rack had been mounted. There does not appear to be any water damage (I keep it covered with a tarp).

FWD campers have an aluminum frame and can be redone into any configuration you want. This one has the long bench / bed on the curb side and the sideways bed up top in the front. The interior is shabby but useable. The previous owner had a dog, so there is a dog smell in it. It didn't bother me because I was going to gut it and redo it all. This is a solid base for a project.

I want this project to go to someone who will complete it. My bargain basement price is:

Camper: $300

Trailer: $500

Package: $700

Those are fair prices. Contact me at: bradesler@yahoo.com The trailer and FWD are in Superior Wisconsin.

Seems like a good deal. It would be hard to find the trailer alone for close to that price.

Kind of what I have in mind for a setup but not settled on it yet. I'm curious though, what are the L x W dimensions of the trailer box now?

Yes, it is a good deal. The problem for most will be my location. Thus the crazy low price.

The bed is 65.5 inches wide and 8 feet long. If someone were to buy the camper I might just keep the trailer (I don't have a truck).

Drive on up! I might throw in the 2 inch receiver mounted height adjustable pintle. This thing pulls nice and balanced.

Wow, that is a good deal. Wish I could pick it up, but I can not get into another project at this point. Good luck with the sale.

It doesn't feel very heavy to me. It's the 3/4 ton meant to be pulled by the CUCV. I might have my nomenclature wrong on the M number. It is sturdy.

I would like to see someone take this home and finish it. I have too many projects at the moment (included a kitchen remodel).

Heavy

Id think itd be too heavy for a jeep to tow. ot me, still is an awesome idea. Do you have it secured to the trialer?
