First Expedition in Range Rover Hybrids, link to images

I work part time for the car site Jalopnik, therefore have access to press releases. One came across my desk just now I thought I should share here, revealing where Land Rover will be taking their first Hybrid Range Rovers. Includes a few hero photos but no serious action shots. I don't work for Land Rover, just an enthusiast, but I thought some of y'all might find this interesting:

It's really nuts that the technology is in production to do that and we can't buy them in the U.S.

I think the 44 mpg is in those "british" gallons - so its 36.75 mpg in US gallons - still impressive!

regardless of the fact that their MPG outperforms any luxury suv we have here, our government, as stupid as they are when it comes to EPA and DOT regulation, likely won't allow them because they probably don't have enough cat piss in them.

I can't wait until US and EUC diesel standards finally align. So stupid it took this long.
