An interesting graphic.. "The Southwest" is being shot on 5.7k Canon DSLR's, 5K Red Epic and 6k Red Epic Dragon. 6k is 9.36 times bigger than HD!

Those Reds are amazing cameras and you seem to be putting them to good use.

I'd love to sit around the campfire and chew the fat, maybe when you get down to Oz :)

ya the Red cameras are incredible pieces of technology. Nuclear reactors in a matchbox.

Thanks, hopefully our second film will be based on deserts and their cultures from around the world. I've always wanted to go to Australia, so many incredible places.

Not for some time. Hoping to be done with principal photography by the end of 2015 and then on to editing, color grading, & the score.

Thanks. I've been watching your Brute thread, I use to have one...definitely miss it. Such a wonderful truck.

To answer your questions..Once its all finished it will go thru the festival circuit and hopefully get some distributors to show in screens across the world. I'd love to have it in IMAX, it's the kind of footage that screams to be seen on a very large screen.

After that it will be certainly available on online, on odemax, and for purchase on disc.

Sorry for the lack updates, we took a short break to get the unimog sold. Happy to say it's off to a new home for christmas.

We will have more updates and lots of more behind the scenes photos once we get into full time shooting madness here soon

My Red Epic will be going in for its sensor upgrade any day and from the results I've seen from other people its going to be insane.

We got our Rigid 50" LED light bar transplanted from the mog up on the van. I love this light, its so bright its insane. We sold the heavy massive bumper that was on there for the ujoint bumper which should be on its way soon. Over the summer we put in the 300W solar panel on the roof rack and 4D AGM batteries in the skid plate for plenty of power on the road.
