Thoughts comments on this for over landing the Pan American highway? Personally I am partial to land cruisers but this caught my eye, don't know anything about them though. Any input on price appreciated.

Patrols are every bit as stout as Land Cruisers, some would say even more so. Definitely well put together. I like the high roof and aluminum front bumper is nice. So is the diesel.

No personal experience and cant comment on price.

170,000 certainly isn't bad at all, tires look like they might be worn.

looks clean but for the same price you could have a Land Cruiser with lockers and winch. I'd hold out for a five speed myself. Safari's even though they are tough like a cruiser will never command the same price as one. Unless there's mega documented maintenance history and a bunch of spare parts I think it's tad on the high side in terms of price.

I agree - but good luck getting a diesel cruiser for that money
In Aus, where there are heaps of them, I would expect this to even go for a bit more money.
