Steering Guard for ARB-bumper-equipped DII?

Title says it all. The Terrafirma guard I was sold will not fit without major surgery to it and the ARB bumper.

As always, thanks!

Guys, I appreciate the suggestion, which you made without coming off as know-it-all jerks like I got last time I asked a question here on a similar topic. And you're right, that is a great way to go too. But even with upgraded hardware I've seen guys bend stuff and a steering guard simply prevents contact in the first place.

Someone out there must be running a guard with an ARB bumper. Bueller? Anyone?

Again, thanks.

My 2 cents. Steering guards look cool, give a truck the whole Camel Trophy look, and help to protect stock steering rods. But I think they do more harm in cutting approach angle than they do in protecting already upgraded HD steering rods. Then again if ARB's aren't exactly known for their clearance/approach angles.
You don't really see any buggies/rock crawlers/Jeeps with steering skids.
A Land Rover steering skid should be made to work bit may require modifying or making new brackets.

For the price of a decent steering guard, you can buy or make some seriously strong tie rods which will take all the punishment you or anyone else is likely to dish out. You can actually jack up the vehicle from tie rods like that without harm. You'll need the extra strength when running larger tires anyway. The stock ones are too weak when modded. Adding a steering guard on top of that is overkill.

I'm using a Southdown steering guard with an ARB bumper. I also installed a heavy duty drag link and tie rod for additional protection. Atlantic-British sells the Southdown steering guard as well as axle guard.
