Help finding a Lid Fabricator in FL for CDN M101

Observer
Hey all,

I was curious if anyone could help me out with finding a fabricator for a lid for an Cdn M101 in Fl. I am wanting to use some plans that were on Ih8mud but it is just crazy $$$. I have spoken with 4 different fabricators in the Orlando area and the prices are all $2000-$3200 for just the lid which is just crazy considering people are paying 400-1000 for them.

I have no problem paying for shipping of a lid, but I can't see paying 2-3x what I paid for my rust free trailer for one.

Any help will be greatly appreciated... TIA

Shane

Where is florida are you? Interested in fabbing yourself? Design looks simple enough. I have a welder, plasma cutter, band saw and other things to get it done. Figure it would take maybe 10 hours to get it to a place you could complete by yourself (hinges, painting, etc.). I am in sarasota. Cost you some pizza and beer. FYI my mig welds on aluminium look like S#it but are stong we could get it done.

Well... I am looking for a fabricator because my welds are worse than birds#it.. :) I would love some help, and am in Orlando, but as I said.. willing to travel. My only issue is I work on the road so I am home just a few days a month. I'll PM you with my info...

Thanks man..
