Saw this on my local craigslist the other day and I REALLY. Want one on my rig. I called a place called Cowtown Slwwpers in Ft Worth and the guy said this design wasn't advisable because it would reduce "stiffness" during rollover. But all that's been cut is the lower portion of the cab. Which I guess would help in side strength. Either way, I WANT ONE!!!

From outside, kinda ugly, but oh well



The inside, and this is a "jack knife" sofa sleeper like in an RV.



I called and talked to the seller and she bought it this way and didn't know much about it. Anyone know where to get this done?

That's the place I called and all his options are rear facing seats because he says that removing the lower rear portion of the cab is not safe.

Used to be a fairly common type mod for the custom truck (generally compacts) folks. Might check nearby car clubs, etc. I remember one of my cousins had a Toyota low rider with a shell that was open between the cab and the bed.
