I have designing a LP bed rack as well as a LP aluminum basket. The Bed rack is constructed out of 10g mild steel, CNC laser cut and formed, all 1.75" holes are dimple died not only for strength but looks. It sits 10" off of the bed rails and has four connecting tubes that are completely adjustable for mine or you're needs. It bolts right into the factory bed rail slides with 8 bolts.

I got them back from the laser shop late this afternoon and I wont be able to weld up the tabs onto the tubes this weekend due to the Holiday, but this next week I will have finished photos (minus powder coating). Thoughts and input?

Tim

Ok, went in for a bit to finish leaning up the parts and I dimple died the second upright. As you can see in the pictures, the tube will be welded to the tabs and both the sides and top center bars will be adjustable for anyone's needs.

These look great!

Is there any fear of bending the bedside with all the weight on the four points?

No, with it bolted to the bed rail slide it's not going to bend, but I will also sell complete bed rail caps for anyone wanting them.

Just finished up the revised aluminum basket for the bed rack. CNC laser cut and formed from 1/8" aluminum, with 1x1 extruded aluminum cross bars. Thoughts?

Ok I have pricing on the aluminum basket now. The basket is $400+shipping. CNC cut and formed from 1/8" 5052 aluminum, dimpled died holes. $450+shipping for the basket that comes with 2 tube rails for the top to mount a bike mount, snowboard mounts or whatever it may be.

Must have. its 36"x48"

Thx. I think you have a good thing going here. Lots of possibilities for options with the modular setup of the pre-drilled cross bars. A cab-high version would be sweet, as well as, a bolt on headache rack. Will keep a close eye on your progress. BTW, what part of Oregon are you in? I have a friend that lives in Newberg, and I am overdue for a visit. If you are close, it be cool to check out your stuff. PM me if you don't want to post you locale in the open forum.
