How does it do at highway speeds and with the elevation? What kind of MPG with the manual?

Highway speeds are no problem with the 3.4. I'd say it's slightly quicker than my fiance's 06 Subaru Forester.

You can keep speed (70ish) on the passes up i70.

trail - 10/12 mpg

City - 15/16 mpg

Highway 18/19 mpg

Best tank was driving from buena vista back to denver - 21mpg @65mph
