What is the idea behind the amber super spot? Or Amber in general? Is it that the Amber is warmer and easier on the eyes?
It cuts through dust (or other airborne particulate) better than a cool white.

I'm so overdue for an adventure! Maybe South Dakota for the test? Probably some good backroads there. You don't hear much about it.
I just did 4 10" on the roof rack of a 2014 Rubicon X I built for the ranch I run. The biggest problem I found was that after driving with them on for a while and you turn them off the vehicle headlights seem like a 1/3 AAA flashlight....
The biggest problem I found was that after driving with them on for a while and you turn them off the vehicle headlights seem like a 1/3 AAA flashlight; they are more than adequate.

LOL!
Quite the drive for both of us.
How about Nebraska instead?![]()
Thanks Nathaniel. That makes sense. Jeremy and I will put Nebraska on the list. Who would have thought?
Nathanael, do you have any Nebraska backcountry pics?

Nathanael,
Thanks for the pics. How many states have you crossed throughout your travels?
William
Looks like a great trip. Good to hear the MaxTrax operated well for you, those and a shovel are my sole recovery devices.
Just noticed your last post had a question I did not answer.
According to the map on the wall I have covered 44 states. Not bad considering I am not a "peak bagger" sort of traveler.
Love the pics William! Thanks for sharing them.
Greetings. I have been reading this forum for several months now and it has helped me tremendously in the process of learning about my recently purchased G Wagen Expedition vehicle (and expedition vehicles in general). Thank you all for that. It is a pretty cool and well executed build. I've taken it out a couple of times now and have explored about 2000 miles of New Mexico back roads. About half of the miles being on the dirt in very remote parts of the state. She runs like a champ. I started with a big list of things I want to do to it and an equally sized list of places I'd like to explore. I've already covered at least a dozen roads/places that have been on the list for years and have been steadily modifying and outfitting so as to be well prepared. Attached are a few pics.
