Sweet thanks man!Bank 1 refers to the bank of cylinders which begin with cylinder 1, the right side of the vehicle. Bank 2 refers to the bank of cylinders which begin with cylinder 2, the left side of the vehicle. Left and right sides are determined when sitting in the driver's seat, facing the front of the vehicle.
Sensor 1 is upstream (pre-cat), sensor 2 is downstream (post-cat).
I'm assuming "bank2 cylinder1 o2 sensor" means "Bank 2, Sensor 1" which in your case, then, would mean the left side pre-cat sensor is triggering the code.
I could probably spend the extra cash for both upstream, But I will have to wait on the 2 downstream until next payday...bills lol.I'll chime in and say that since you are going to be under the car working on O2 sensors, I'd replace at least both of the front O2 sensors, and all 4 if you can manage the extra $60 or so. I think rockauto had all 4 Denso (OEM) sensors for ~$140, which I would guess is cheaper than just one from the dealer.
I ended up only ordering the left upfront. But thanks man for suggesting rockauto. Saved me $50 compared to autozone. It should be here friday.I'll chime in and say that since you are going to be under the car working on O2 sensors, I'd replace at least both of the front O2 sensors, and all 4 if you can manage the extra $60 or so. Thats first time i've ordered from them. But i'm definitely gonna a return customer. They've already shipped it, and I just ordered this morning. Thats good service!Rockauto is awesome. I ordered most of my parts for my timing belt/head gasket/valve stem seals job from there. Much cheaper than any of the stores around here.

Nice I will have to see if I can find one. I gotta nab up a ac condenser fan soon and that would help.Don't forget to use the 5% off coupon code that you can always find online![]()
Craziest thing....my ses light went off.
Idk why mine would just turn itself off. Unless it was a short with the o2 sensor and started working again. Of course this happened after I ordered the part...but I guess it will be good to have if the ses light comes back on.I wish mine would. I cleared the codes in vain hope. They're back.
