Nicely done. I like the new version a lot. The space efficiency seems very good. Are the walls made of aluminum or steel or something else?

Looks great - personally, I would reverse the fridge and cabinets so I could take advantage of my tailgater in food prep, but this is really a workstyle decision. I understand your explanation and justification. Bonus points if it's reversible! :)

I like the material used as you don't loose precious space with the thickness of the construction materials.

Please keep us posted on future builds and availability.

Al,

Very, very cool setup. I really like it. Keep it up.

Also, I'm super impressed and inspired by your video and audio quality. I hope to do the same when I start shooting in force!

The whole thing is steel right now Aluminium was much more expensive and I needed it to be thicker if I went with aluminum so this first run is steel.

Thanks for the feed back ... I did originally design it that way but found that I lost storage to do it that way as the jeep has that huge bulge on the back of the tail gate behind the door handle so the fridge boing on the left made sense so I could make the drawers a bit longer increasing capacity. If you look at the video you can see that the drawer stack is slightly longer than the fridge cab. I have been thinking that if I made a tailgater that flipped up it would give me another shelf above the prep surface which would be awesome so maybe my next project will be that :) . I wanted to make it reversible and though I would have lost space and added weight :(

Thanks grecy

I love shooting video I make a small video every day in my VLOG!

Once I get this order done I'm going to plan a trip on the Whipsaw trail for everyone that did the order with me for fun and video the whole trip :)

Since its steel you could have a series of 1" holes cut out (think honey comb) of the sides and back of the fridge support along with the sides and back of the drawer side too. Would save weight and it this thing is being cut on by an cnc plasma it wouldn't add much to the mfg time.

ETA: or go molle!

Very nice. You should reach out to the guys at Springtail Solutions. They do a lot of Jeep JK molle racks and accessories. I think a collaboration on this project could work for both of you!

That's a great idea ... the new one being made right now has a lot of material cut out of it this time. I am getting a quote from a CNC plasma manufacturer right now so it shouldn't add much to cut more material out :)

Al can you share the width and height dimensions so that those of us in vehicles other than JK's can check for fit? Really nice and well thought out design.
