For our US customers here's a bit more clarification on how this warranty works.
.
For the electrical winch components, COMEUP Industries Inc (parent company) provides a one year warranty on DV series winches and a 3 year warranty on Seal series winches.
.
COMEUP USA INC now provides an extended 5 year warranty on all DV and Seal series winches. .
So in total, we provide a 6 year warranty on DV series electrical components and an 8 year warranty on Seal series electrical components that register for the extended warranty!
.
To take advantage of the extended 5 year warranty, the original owner of the COMEUP winch will need to register their product in our website.

Thanks

This is awesome but I'm curious to know if there would be any exclusions for what we consider "normal" changes to factory design.
.
ie: If we need to "clock" the housings to fit a particular bumper would there be an issue trying to get warrantied because we "changed" the factory design?

I wouldn't think so since there instructions for clocking the winch included. At least there were with mine. Best idea if you're not sure on a particular change you might have made would probably be to call and ask.

Same with relocating the control box.
