The D3 is a 05 G4 car, The Audi was an A4 from 2009, a newer design model.
The Audi was doing 120mph+, the driver was reported to be way over the drink drive limit by 3 or 4 times. They should never have been near a car.
The Audi driver was killed, his body parts were found all over the place. The impact tore the engine and gearbox out the car, then tore them both apart.
The D3 had a family in it. All survived. Some broken bones and bruises but they are alive today thanks to the strength of the D3.

Yeah, I feel like when I drive my D3, it was as safe as the armored LC I drove around Afghanistan. When I rear ended that Toyota fullsize, I honestly didn't even feel it. That car was destroyed from the bumper to the back seat; I had radiator and bumper damage. I feel 100% safe in retrospect in my Landy and love the feeling.
