To get the paddle shifters

Trucks are supposed to have manual transmissions but you can’t get an f150 with with a manual transmission anymore.
My truck did come with a column shifter like a truck should and it has buttons on it for manual shifting but it is very awkward-to use.

Then I saw on the interwebs where people were replacing the steering wheels on f150s with raptor wheels and decided I wanted to do that

Hmmm... That's interesting! So, will the heated steering wheel option work as well? Do you mind sharing how much Wal-mart charges for the wheel?

I'm interested to find out if you get the crawl control feature working. I played with the downhill assent control in mine last summer and it was pretty neat.

I think it needs another module replaced to get the heat to work.

The buttons are supposed to swap over and I found someone online who makes a t harness That will tie the wires from the paddle shifters into the the harness from the column shifter.

The harness should be here tonight along with a new traction control switch.

I can just turn on the hill decent control in forscan but I am pretty sure adding crawl mode will be a project.

On my Jeep I just used a second choke knob to control the throttle bet the f150 is more complicated.

there is a guy on f150forumthat makes a harness for $100 that makes it super easy.
you don’t even need forscan.

I will look into that.

I was able to get hill decent control by swapping a button and changing a line of code in forscan.
