Until MI loses its awful politics you see a slow in relo's there. I should have bought lake front property in 2008 when it was dirt cheap when I had the chance. The UP is a gem.

Yes... the best grouse, woodcock and snow hare country ever. Probably even better than Maine.
When I went to school in MI I used to go up there... still haunts me how beautiful and wild the place is.
