Is your bed the 6.75' one? A couple of questions; Why the 2x4 between the canopy and bed? Was it just for cab clearance? Does that keep the water out? What is the overall condition of the fabric (Rips, seams, etc..)? Hard to gauge condition and staining versus just being dusty/offroad dirty.

Thanks!

yes it’s the 6.75’

the frame was to allow for cab clearance and also let me scoot the shell back. To meet with the tailgate better. It’s slightly short for my bed. I find it acceptable in appearance, others may not. But I’m much more function over form and once I slept in it I was hooked. It just doesn’t work for all of us. I need the camper off the truck so I can haul a gooseneck occasionally.

the tent material might be a bit stained. I’ll pop it open and take some better pictures this weekend. It’s been rainy on and off lately.
I haven’t had any noticeable water intrusion and it’s been raining lately here. I’m sure there’s been some as I don’t have any bulb seal down there, but again, I haven’t noticed anything and I am in the bed of my truck frequently for work.
