Global Expedition Habitat mounted on a 2022 International HV607 6x6

adam88 you are correct.
Just like the 2022 ADV Mobil ProLander (5/25/2025) bid to 201,000.00 and sold later for over 300,000.00, and the 2025 International HV507 4x4 Bliss camper (5/13/2025) bid went to 291,000.00 and sold for 460,000.00, you can find this one on the portal. So, an auction has no meaning on the value of something besides the majority of people bidding really have no clue what money and time that goes into building or buying something like an expedition vehicle. At one point someone up the bid by 1000.00. You can't by one tire for that price.
I just received an email from a company that builds expedition vehicle giving a breakdown of cost to build one. Habitat alone starts at 350,000.00 not including the chassis. The chassis is separate and can only be determined by the size and value. So, those prices can be all over the map (old used military starting at 20,000.00 to new completed trucks going for 300,000.00 plus.
All people will low ball in an auction just to see but really know they are not going to buy.

Cool beast.

I agree, it is a snapshot of those with eyes in the auction at that time. But also disagree with the overall conclusion.

The auction also speaks to the demand of a vehicle. In this case it is a small market. The list of capabilities of this vehicle over many other expedition vehicles is short. From my eyes It begins and ends with the size. If someone needs that, this is likely the one. Many other heavy duty expedition vehicles are more versatile.

It ALWAYS comes down to supply and demand for what is being sold at the value it is being sold at.

Please list the rigs with more solar, more batteries and water. This way I can see what I am missing and what I need in my next adventure. I though 2000 watts of solar, 26000-watt hours of battery at nominal 24 Volts and 130+ gallons of water I was doing good, but I guess not. I was showing the rig to a guy the other day; it was 85 degrees with 80% humidity outside batteries were at 100% inside temperature was at 72 degrees with the mini-split running and Victron monitor told me I had 10 days of battery at my rate of discharge and solar input, so again If there is better, I may have to re-think my calculations. Please lead me to rigs I can't wait to see these rigs. This rig is what you see more in the European countries where people travel for weeks and months or years in them not just weekenders or a couple of weeks off-grid. I spent 7 months in Arizona winter and never plugged in. But to my understanding you are telling me that the systems are not up to par, so again please send me links to these vehicles so I can learn. LOL

You built a beautiful rig. I think it's awesome. That being said, since you're asking, the benefits you listed are not free. They come at a weight cost. I know above you referenced the other 2025 international vehicle that sold for around $400k (https://expeditionportal.com/classifieds-international-hv-bliss-mobil/) which was also a beautiful rig. That rig weighed 24,000 pounds fully loaded (wet). You mentioned yours weighs around 38,000 pounds (not sure if that's wet or not, if not add a lot more for water). So that's a 14,000 pound difference, which is a totally different league. That's like TWO extra diesel F350 crew cabs in weight. Weight does matter. I think you just need to find the right buyer for this type of rig, but it might take a while. I think of this rig more of a base camp style. It would be ideal for people who want to drive down a gravel road to a nice base camp, setup shop for a few months, etc.

Yup I stand stupid. Sorry. Got caught between two trucks. My comments on water and solar were not correct. I corrected that.

Although 99% of us asking questions and weighing in are not potential buyers, if you dont mind.

How many does it sleep?
Did I miss external dimensions?
What is the turning radius?

Again apologies for not paying better attention.

I went through the scales on Friday. Weight was 33,670. If not able to purchase, why are you wasting your time and mine asking questions? If someone that is interested, they can ask all the questions.

When people are selling something it maybe because they want to or in some cases, we have personal issues we need too. So please stop the negative comments. Instead talk about the vehicles you have built personally, not bought, not hired someone to build but that you personally worked on, made the investment and time that you have put in personally.

Honestly, I don't know how you fit all of that into the vehicle AND the 270 gal of fuel... It's impressive!

Let the non-buyers ask questions, it bumps your thread to the top every time. :)

Cheers,
Indeed. I had 60 on my Fuso and thought a 600 mile range was a lot. It’s nice not to be searching for fuel all the time. There is really nowhere reasonable for this conversation where you are more than 250 miles from fuel anywhere in North America. So even at 6 mpg he has around 1800. I am not sure about the other continents.

Truth be told ( for the neighborhood reaction alone) I would love to pull that up to the house to load the groceries. Such a cool beast. The new owner needs a ‘not another Sprinter’ bumper sticker.

Bump
