Observer
Greetings! This is my 1989 Range Rover. I am modifying it for overland use, not for the real hardcore stuff. At the 2008 National Rallye, I led 7 mile rim and fins n things. Looking forward to '09 in Leadville.

modifications so far:
2" OME springs and shocks w/ EE ruberized isolators top and bottom on all 4 springs
galvanized tube shock towers from RN
Rovertracks trailing arms (installing soon)
LT230 w/ Tom Woods DC shaft. New old style center console coming soon.
non-sunroof roof and redone headliner
rockware sliders
rockware front bumper with warn 9.5HS winch
rockware rear bumper (not mounted yet)
EE rear swivel tie downs (4)
Rovertracks HD steering with greasable TRE's
E code lamps w/ ARB wiring
Hella 4000s in factory fog light switch
Rovertracks Sewer cap diff covers
Will Tillery 140 amp alternator
galaxy CB
235/85 BFG MTs on defender alloys
powertank in rear
Full prep and full waxoyl 120-4 and hardwax (no rust, truck not driven in winter)

soon to install:
front longtracks (1st edition) w/ 4.10 ARB
rear toyota 4.10 w/ Keith's toyota conversion (it will be open at first but eventually ARB locker)
ARB compressor or convert Air conditioning to be air compressor

Keith machined the toyota flanges to fit under the alloy rims as you can see in the pic. Thanks Keith! I forgot to mention that when I do the axle conversion, I am going to install EE brake lines at the same time.

I posted the same in the picture thread but I have to tell you that your truck is the nicest looking non Defender Rover I have seen to date. Like Musky said, it's just well balanced and thought out. Well done.

Well, everything except that HUGE radio lol.

well it seems to be a nice truck.... but I can't see the entire thing! Post a picture of the WHOLE truck, not just it's parts. :sombrero:

What are you talking about? That radio kicks MMM! LOL :ylsmoke:

Future plans call for that hidden Cobra unit when the new console goes in. Maybe a cupholder too!

no worry, I saw the pic of the entire truck you posted in the other thread. Cool RRC. I had an 89 classic as my first vehicle, but had to sell if cause I couldn't afford to fix the engine. I reallllllyyy wish I could have just kept it and left it on the side of the garage for a later date. That truck was spotless inside and out.
