Any chance adding "FJCruiser" to this Toyota sub forum title?

Wondering if you all wouldn't mind a friendly IFS addition to your title.

There are a bunch of us FJCrs that are getting more and more into expedition/overlanding type set ups.

Granted we have our own forum over there but hoped to be able to hang my hat around here, as well. Looking to learn from those with more experience.

Maybe I'm being overly pedantic but it seems like the FJC should be in the LC forum? Either that or both Toyota forums should be merged into one since Toyota is the only manufacturer to have two vehicle forums (fora?)

How about one Toyota category. Three subforums within that:

1) Land Cruiser
2) Toyota trucks
3) FJC and 4Runner (since they are most alike)

I don't think the three sub forums is a good idea. I don't see too much traffic as it is right now. If anything, I'd say one Toyota forum or leave it the way it is.

Cackalak,

What could it hurt to try it? I don't see any negative responses toward this except yours. Maybe the traffic will increase. That would be a good thing right? Over 100,000 FJCs sold, 20,000+ active in the FjCruiser forum, I would think you might want to capture some of the expedition minded folks that might be looking for this type of venue.

I'm not saying that you couldn't give it a go. Just voicing my opinion as to what I think. :) I'd love to see more FJC build ups, but personally, I don't think separating the already divided subforums is the best idea. IMO, I don't think separating out the FJC (and the 4Runner) on its own forum will stimulate any more activity.

I like seeing FJCs just as much as the next guy, but they share nothing in common with Land Cruisers other than the "T". My vote would be for individual sub-forums grouped by related chassis/drivetrains.

This may be my personal bias showing (FJ62 lover), but I consistently hear FJ owners say that the FJ is just as much a landcruiser as any of the others. If thats the case, then they should play in the same sandbox.
