There's actually plenty of room...

Ben, have you mounted 15" rims with the D90 calipers? I've never heard of a D90 having any issues mounting 15" rims, but when I measured the clearance between the caliper and rim on mine, it was only about 5/8". That would make a really tight squeeze with a 15" rim.

Yea, I run the 15in GCR wheels with the D90 calipers/ rotors. No problems with clearance at all ;)

I've never ridden more than a mile or two on the pavement, but I started out in '84 on CR 80 raced around a bunch as a little grom up through the 125 class. Then I broke my jaw in '91ish when I over shot a landing. I quit riding for a few years then got back on a bike in 97 through 2000 while I lived in Vail. Mainly riding singletrack until I got back into motocross and scared the MMMM out of myself again. So I sold my YZ400f...

But man... I'm feeling the KTM love...

Rode Scott's 950 Adventure for a nice highway ride and absolutely loved it...

FWIW, OEM design clearance from caliper to a wheel can be as little at 5mm. Based on your 5/8" measurement for a 16" wheel (I assume?), subtract another 1/2" for a 15" wheel and you're down to 1/8", or 3mm... Pretty tight. Probably depends on a case by case basis with the wheels.

It's not that tight. I don't know where you're getting your numbers for but it's definitely not 1/8. Not even close.

Ben could you snap a pic?

I know you won't get that dirty on your pristine garage floor...

The DBA rotors helped for sure, but I know it can be better...

LOL, it only looks pristine because I recently scrubbed it down with cleaner!!! After doing a few head gasket jobs, it was quite dirty ;)

Yup, I'll snap a pic later.
