Does it matter if they are on or off? I think the only reason you want to take them off is to have less wind resistance thus bettr MPG!!

I have not taken them off yet. There are some pictures on the first page of trucks without it and I think it looks pretty nice.

This is the truck with the fenders removed, but the molding still on.

I also removed the SE badging.

I doubt it. I think I will hold off for awhile on the side molding. At least until I think it over and am sure that's what I want. There is a lot of double sided tape keeping those on so it will be quite the job!

Can this be the post to push it onto page 5, I sure hope so. I'm sure side molding is one of those "option" things that make it possible for the manufactuer to say, we have 5 million ways in which you can build your own truck, ala GMC, So you see if its on, or if its off, there is 2 options of how to order right there. Now only 4.something million more ways to go.
