Up for sale is my "camping" trailer. I don't have any details as to the year it was manufactured. I had it "overhauled" with a new full floating axle with a 5 x 5 1/2 bolt patter. I mounted a (aprox) custom made 20gal. aluminum water tank on the front and also included is a custom made (aprox) 10 gal. fuel tank. Email: 2mavalos@gmail.com

All for $895.00

Why didn't you post this last week when I was in Moab? Are the water tank and fuel tank removable from the trailer? What size tires are on the trailer? Do you have a title?

I have the same luck when I go to buy stuff.. The water tank is bolted to the frame (tabs) and the fuel tank is NOT fastened and there are NO tabs for bolting. Yes I have a title for it.

Hey Marty, you been keeping your tires on the rims lately? :sombrero:

HEY MIKE!! ..........So far the tires are staying on the rims but that's no fun. It's getting a little toasty here so not doing much wheeling (some trips to the La Sals) until Sept when Guy gets here. Guess I'll see you in October in Escalante??? Been doing a lot of maintenance (U-joints, cooling fans, electrical) so I'll be ready for the "death march" in Oct.

I know what you mean about the old age & comfort ..... that's why I went with the XJ five years ago. It's not as comfy as the Ruby I'm sure, but so far it's doing the job I want. And in a pinch I can sleep in it (no, not a dog house:) I'll bet Benny's really liking it!!!!!!!! I wouldn't doubt in a few years I might be heading the the Rubicon direction.... I already have a head start with the 4:1 in the XJ:sombrero:

I'd think going from a flat fender to the XJ was a pretty drastic move for comfort. I've been in that same CJ since 86, didn't realize how uncomfortable I was till I drove Mikey's new rig, it's like cheating. LOL

I had that flat fender for 30 years. Then bergerburners CJ-7 for 10 years. I was mainly wanting a Jeep that I could drive a couple hundred miles on the hiway and not feel like I just did the Golden Spike. I've flat towed for 30 + years but most all of the wheeling I'll ever want to do now is no more than a days drive from Moab. And the bonus is I didn't compromise my challenging trails .... of course with a little "tuning up"....

That is exactly what my father said to me one year. I have a CJ7 and went wheeling with Chuck Wells, and he let me drive his TJ. Dad said "It's like cheating isn't it!" Someday I will be able to up it to a TJ.

A very nice looking trailer. Is it a military trailer (IE M4126), or homemade, or what?

Boy I am in Provo, and that is very tempting to go down there and buy that off of you. Sigh, I would have to spend my vacation money for Yellowstone though... sigh. Good luck selling it!

By the way, is the one that I have seen in town filled up with firewood for sale, chained to a telephone poll?

I have no idea what year or if it's a civilian or military model. It's not homemade though. Funny you should mention Yellowstone, cause that's were we're heading next Wednesday. I was hoping to go there in the fall but had I another trip planned in October that took precedent.... 4 wheeling!!
