Can you use Google earth without an enternet access if you have a GPS reciever?

i have been doing quite a bit of research the last couple days, and it seems to me that the best software for this use is Delorme topo USA 8.0. it has some really neat features, as well as an online map database that con be accessed for 30 bucks a year. the software itself i believe is 100 USD.

If you are a Mac user, MacGPSPro is a terrific program. I've been using it for ~5 years.
