hi all...........

just wanted to shout out and say hello. i live just up the road from nick4x4 and also own a discovery at the moment. i have had a few landies over the last few years..... all started as standard and then got modified...i cannot resist the urge...

given up saying now " i will not modify this one " :Wow1:

it never happens.....

anyway....

here is my first modified D1

the cambelt let go on this one so i decided that it was time to move forwards. i bought myself a V8 disco1 this time. a 3.9...after some modification it looked like this

i then went on to buy a 110 csw. this was turned into a tdi at nick4x4's company and then into a utility. more modification and it turned into this

i have now moved back to the D1 again. i did miss them when i had the 110. so now i am almost the start of modifying it. i have done the snorkle, polybush kit. dog guard, blacked windows, dvd/navigation/music center, cb radio, updated headlights and indi's, a very very smart and rare grill.( it was teh 1st suadi one ever made )

there will be alot more to come on this build. hope i didnt bore you with my pictures too much

Ok. I know I'm new, but your first picture with the Defender style turn-signal lights and round headlights............Where did they come from? I like that grill/headlight combo!

I was going to ask the same question. Is it a Hella setup? They made conversion kits for a few vehicles, I put one on my Focus. The lighting is now much better than stock.

it was fitted to me 93 discovery. the kit made such a difference to the old style lights. the crystal lights were great apart from wading, they just filled with water.:Wow1:

thanks for finding that link nick, my eyes wouldnt focus and i needed some sleep in a big way.

Good looking trucks, Den.

I checked out that link. Says for the 200tdi. Are the bodies of the 200tdi and 300 tdi much different? The company saidthey would NOT ship to the US anyway. I like the defender style grill on there.

when i bought them i fitted them straight away like an excited kid.....on looking at them i wasnt sure to begin with,,,,,


after a couple of weeks i really did love them....they certainly stand out from the crowd...

Thanks for the link Tim. Unfortunately they are pretty specific about no international shipping. I'd do one of those kits if I could get is here. It'd look good on the Tdi

it might be worth an email to them to ask if they would send to the states..... there has to be more than one way :friday:
