That SG bumper looks horrible... It would look ten times better on my disco! Did you get hella 4k cornering beams there?

Your RTE looks pretty good in the "teaser" pics you sent me.

I picked up two cornering and two driving 4000 lights from Kris.

They are poseur lights right now. Have to get wiring and relays so I can hook them up.

I'm going to assume the RRS is the pullee and not the puller. It's still nice to see somebody wheel at newer Range Rover (not to mention a Sport!!).

Correct. They hooked a D1 (in the pic) as an anchor. The 88" had the winch. I can't believe I didn't get the 88 in the pics.

There were several RR's there. I was upset about trail pinstriping on my paint. You should have seen the pinstriping on the Rangerovers.

I know that little hill where the RR got stuck doesn't look like much, but it's steeper than it looks. It's worn down and has lots of rocks. It's also off-camber towards the downhill and has a turn at the top. No problem for the modified rigs, bt the stockers with the low-profile tires had issues.

Where was this held? How often do you guys have runs? I would like to go on one of these runs, you don't know if they are planning on coming over to East Idaho anytime?

Skyler, hey there. This was in the desert in the Snake River Birds of Prey area south east of Boise.

The event was sponsored by Lyle Pearson Land Rover. Lea Magee (camel trophy guy) and a couple of local Idahoans took us from the dealership about 75 miles. Some nice trails. Couple of good obstacles, but lots of stock vehicles were there.

The dealership hasn't done anything like this in several years, but a large group of people from the trail ride have decided to try and get together more often.

Send me your info, and I will get you some contact info.

It looked like it was fun event and well attended.

I've been waiting for this event since moving to the area two years ago. It just so happened that I had a conflict and was out of town.

It looks like there are enough folks around to take it upon ourselves and take some trips throughout the year. Any interest?

I know Lyle Pearson is planning on having these events more frequently. Everyone there was excited about it.

I know other people have talked about doing a few trail rides. Sometimes it's just hard to get everyone together.

I will let you know if I hear anything.

for more difficult runs in the owyhees check with the northwest cruisers guys I think they go often. I have not been since I sold my disco a few years back. I am looking for a 96-97 to replace it now. I have moved to twin falls and would like another disco to rove the area. I contacted nwcruisers a few years back and did a run with scott when he brought his arb cruiser through. I was the only rover and nobody gave me a hard time.

Sweet TDI I would love a TDI disco 1.

Here is a link to scotts site with coordinates and picks from that run. http://www.expeditionswest.com/adventures/2006/idaho/index.html
