My 33" spare in my X touches my rear bumper - it just fits! In fact it leaves a bit of a groove in the robber of the tire it is so tight. But as long as it fits it works for me. I feel much more comfortable with a matching spare.

The stock 31" is close enough to my 32" for me.

Geez, I didn't know I had that affect on you. If you really wanted to be like me, you'd have swapped that V8 from that old silver DC Tundra we found in the woods last year.

the other reason I liked teh 235s were everybody seemed to have the size in stock, so I don't think it will be hard to find a replacement if needed

That's the only concern I have with the 255's...
