I'm looking for a small point and shoot style camera, that still has some of the features of a DSLR camera, can't be bigger than say an Iphone.
Where should I start?
Where should I start?
Well, IMO start by telling us what features of "similar to DSLR" that interest you.
My point and shoot is a Canon Elph 790is. I still get the 10MP images (IMO, not as much clarity as the ESO40d) but I also get the portability of it and the video option which is surprisingly good.
I would get some version of the Canon Elph if I had to do it over. I haven't researched them since last year.
To be honest, I have gone back to the 790is over the 40d more times than I care to admit.
Basically I don't want to drag my expensive, large Nikon out on Jeeping trips. But would still like to capture great shots worthy of printing. Maybe even shoot in Raw format.
Canon G10. I keep one in my bag in case I somehow lose all 3 Nikon Body's in some freak accident.
