Great trip report! Its reading write-ups like these that make me want to get out and explore, and made me get my truck in the first place!

Great shots Dave! Thanks for sharing.

Small World... We were working our way down the coast from Oregon with an idea to be in that exact spot (Prewitt) around New Year's Eve. Would've been great to bump into you. We were forced to stay longer on the Oregon Coast when a strange, yellow ball of fire emerged in the sky. The locals told us it only happens a few days each winter so we decided to stick around. :sombrero:

Nice report, that's one of my favorite spots in the world. Spent my birthday there back in October!

I'll be backroading Los Padres this weekend, there's a good chance we'll stay a night at Prewitt.

I love that spot...
It had been awhile, and I'd been away, so after checking your Big Sur pics, I had to go back and look at the date, see that the post was current, and take a good hard look at why I was so positive you had sold that Cruiser and bought a SM.
After convincing myself that O hadn't gone mad, I looked around on here, then your blog, and just read the whole story about selling the big rig and picking up the cruiser/ trailer again.
GOOD JOB!
I've always loved that thing.

Don't worry you aren't the first to think that you're crazy about us having the LC/AT back. Some people have been away and haven't checked in with us in a long time and find us back with the rig and think their going nuts. But nope, we got lucky and bought it all back. Thanks for the kind words!

Had I known.....
D & I were just wasting about NY's. I'd have liked to see Prewitt w/o the camo-clad non-hunters of our last trip up that way.

Ok, you're on my official list to disturb when we head out somewhere.

We want too, but don't know what position we'll be in once the date arrives. So far it's looking good. It will be nice to meet you guys and other portal members.
