So it's a reverse terminal. Perfect for a Toyota.

Not necessarily.

This is a 34-78:

Information that I have supplied is accurate. MoGas- if this is your battery, it is the optima label upside down that is a give away that it has been installed reversed. The 34-78 is installed reading the optima label right side up and terminal location (+)____(-) as viewed from the front.

I'm not trying to kill a sale or anything, so just calm down.

An Optima 34-78 will not be able to be hooked up in a 93+ 80 series Land Cruiser, 100 series Land Cruiser and many year Tacomas, in the factory battery location, without modification to the leads because they won't reach.

It would work fine in a 60/62, many Hilux pickups, and 91-92 80 series Cruisers.

MoGas-

I think we are talking about the forward most location of both terminals on the 34-78 because the (+)(-) orientation is correct. Not worried about the sale, just getting the right tech info out there. Thanks I can understand that the cables in the specified model and year would be an issue.

Van
