Afrispoor Off Road Trailer Introduction

Sorry, I never got back to you. In the photos you will see a thin condensation blanket on top and inside the tent. These are sewn onto the heavy duty canvas so that it folds out with the tent (no assembly needed). This completely eliminates the condensation.

Can you go into more detail about this? I've never heard of such a thing. I can't see it in the pictures.

im not really seeing it either .. i am assuming it is sewn into the panels ? how does this work ?is a panel that just breathes better or does it just absorb the moisture? if so where does it go ?would that not lead to mildew and mold, if it works, is this somthing that i could have sewn into my tent ? too many questions ?

The tent itself is heavy duty canvas. Then on the top and inside there is a cotton sheet that is sewn onto the canvas. This allows the air under it keeping the moisture off of the canvas. The one inside the tent (hard to see in the photos), also billows down a little off the canvas, letting air under it.

It's not a very technical explanation but hopefully makes sense. I have asked Howling Moon to give me the technical details on how it works and will post tomorrow.

Is it just me, or does the Afrispoor trailer bear a striking resemblence to the Trek Overland Globe Master?

http://trekoverland.com/globe_master.htm

Yes, Trek Overland's Globe Master is the Aprispoor Mongoose. They are UK distributor of the Afrispoor and have decided to go with a different name.

However, this is a old version of the Afrispoor called the Mongoose. The model has changed in the last year but we are not doing that one in the US, we are opting for the larger Leopard and the grand-daddy Buffalo.

Maybe you could see if you could use the Globe Master name. It's a good name, and there is already some brand recognition?
