Thanks Fernando for the correction...LOL For me being as short as I am, its very large and spacious:victory:

Any owners happen to have any pics of the inside? Panoramic would be lovely. Seriously though, still trying to convince the wife she will like the tent.

Also, is there some type of interior roof attachment thingy for hanging lanterns and fans and such?

Coastal Defender, I'll have a ton of photos of the interior in a day or so. Leaving in an hour to head out on a two day trip in Southern Utah, and I'll have a full report as soon as we get back.

Show the wife the photos I'll post and she'll order you one for Christmas:victory:

I am meaning battery/gyro powered lamps/lanterns.

Did those pics get taken? :D

This is the best I have for interior shots. Mine is off the roof for the winter season. I was able to hang pleanty of things from the "rafters" of the tent. I found some cool clip on LED lights that fit right on the 3 support hoops at Walmart in the camping section.

Bump.

I am looking at the ARB Simpson III, the large Mambasa and the Camping Lab...I have two adults, a 10 yo and a 5 yo. Wondering if we'll all fit in them?

Also, if the 'changing rooms' that attach to the bottom are large enough for maybe the kids to sleep in...any input would be great.

I'd like to see some interior pix as well. I'm surprised there aren't more of them online.

I have the exact same setup as Bluedog. Largest camping lab, front runner rack, TLC 80. I can give exterior shots but you've seen those. The best description in terms of size i can give - It is slightly wider than a standard King size bed and about 2' longer. I fit Myself, Wife and 2.5 year old easy with room to spare. Ive got another on the way. If you got a king size bed and can all fit in there comfortably there you go. I'd say 3 across and one down by the feet. Another way would be put down some tape on the floor to the interior dimensions of the tent and see if yall all fit. One thing you dont have to worry about is comfort. If you have spent allot of time in a standard tent this is well beyond that. At least I can speak for the Camp Lab. 3 inch foam cushion, I got greedy and added another inch of memory foam on top of that, why not, it stays up there along with sheets and stuff and still packs up tight.
I plan on adding a changing room way down the road when we may not be able to fit everyone. Simple as well, a couple of cots will fit down there, I'd say the whole thing equals luxury accommodations by my standards.

I consider myself a pretty shrewd shopper. It's hard for me to buy even the smallest thing without comparison shopping. So spending this kind of money sent me into nit picky consumer mode frenzy. I can only speak for the Camping Lab model but I am very happy with the purchase. And you should believe all the good things you have heard about Fernando, solid guy, great customer service.

Thanks, ozark.

I research like mad too...gonna have to jump sooner or later tho or I'll never get it!

I'd like the bottom room right away, just more comfort and area to change, stand up.

Thanks again,

Another option, which is probably the one I will go with when I need more room is to get the room attachment for the Awning. I already have one and it would be roomier than the changing room. Ive got the large awning from camp lab and It is huge, with the enclosure they sell it would be a cavernous space, at least two cots and maybe a third in a bag, in case one of the kids brought a friend. Since the awning is on the other side of the vehicle that would leave a private space upstairs for me and the little Lady. :ylsmoke:
