I am hoping to built a swing away rear bumper, rock sliders etc
Am hoping to get some advice from you lot on doing some sort of a storage build in the boot as well as a on board water supply.

Am waiting for the second set of lights for the front light bar and awning to turn up.

Any advice etc please ask.

Russ, welcome.

I like the way your cage follows the body lines. Are you still able to remove the a pillar covers the instance that you may have to replace the windshield?

Also does the ACE and SLS help with body roll with the weight up top?

Would also like to see it all opened up if you have any photos to share.

that is a super nice truck, I like the way you did the bumper, and hid the winch like that. I have a 8274 that I've wanted to mount on my D2, but always hesitated because I thought it would stick out too far. Great pictures.

Yeah i can still pull the covers off no problem, as for the ACE i have been having some problems with it so it is turned of untill i find a different way to seal the block,

yeah i can sort some pics out of it all up and sorted, thats not a problem.

hi, when talking about the release mechanism is it the freespool?

with me been from the winch challage side of the sport we dont use or trust the free spool set up on a 8274-50, so we drill a hole through the housing and the free spool lever and drop a r clip in so it cant be used. We just use the motor for spooling out.

Have a look at my ongoing storage rack project here, should give you some ideas to work with :coffee:

That looks well, like the idea of useing steel insted of wood, think in a crash or roll steel will still hold the items etc. wood may brake causing tools etc to be lose and could cause damage!

Got the rest of the lights fitted on the roof now, been working on a twin batt set up today so i can sort all the wiring out soon!
will post up some pics of the tent up soon,

Thanks again for the comments.
