Cool trailer. Really great work. Those are some serious tires on it too. I bet your tires & rims cost more than my trailer..LOL

What color you painting it?

Im going to use the raptor liner inside and out and i picked up a piece of .063 tread plate for the skin for the lid.

Bomb proof....

Just the way we like em'!!!

I like the way you ran the metal under the frame..strong as all hell...

Post some pictures up of them thar' fenders...:ylsmoke:

EDIT: Now as I'm looking at the fenders on the Jeep....why not match them...they look pretty sharp!

The lid..whoaaaaaa!!

The fenders...*where in the hell is the barf emoticon*

I'm still thinking you might be able to find someone to bend you something to a custom width to cover the wheel better, and match the Jeep(s) fenders...and that will tie it all together nicely.

The other side of that is there is never enough "flat surface" area when camping, or pulling something out of the inside box..so I don't think it'll go to waste, and in the end you'll be glad you did.

I'm with Pat! The fenders are just too wimpy for the trailer. Sorry. Need to be wider for both function and aesthetics. Apart from that it looks great!!

I dont think they are to wimpy, they are supported by 1x2 in 3 places and they are styrdu enough to stand on. Im really leaning to building a new axle because its really wide. The fenders are 12 inches wide so i think that narrwoing the axle will give me the look i want. The main reason I went with the flat fenders is the top dimension is a perfect match for my camp stove :D.

Just cut and reweld the axle to proper width.

I think the Fenders should double as a counter - for the beverage of choice when you get to camp - so I like the flat style.

It will be easier to just make a new axle the proper width. the steel and spindles are cheap....

hahahahaha... Yes that is one regret I have on my round fenders. I should have gone flat for beverage counter action.
