Do you leave the standing room attached all the time and fold it up connected to the RTT, or do you unhook it and store it separately attaching it only when needed?

If you unhook it each time; do you unzip the four panels and fold each one or keep them all zipped to each other and fold it up as one sheet?

I ask because my t-top came with no literature or instructions, I tend to leave it unattached during summer but keep it attached fall and winter and pack it all up together so it deploys faster.

I always unzip all the sections and fold them up separately. I don't think it is possible to remove the canvas in one piece and it would be very bulky to fold up with the tent.

Is yours an EZE-AWN?

Mine is a 1600, and I thought it would be too bulky to stow it all connected until I tried it. The tent still closes fine because the Add a room lays on top and if you partially unzip the panels they cross fold on top and it doesn't add much thickness, especially if you move most of it to the sides of the ladder. I still had two bags, two pillows and a down comforter in the tent. and the cover went on easy.

I think the panels could stay connected if you just unzipped one corner and slid the panels out of the C channel working your way around.

Yes it is also the 1600, I guess I'm going to have to try that. I don't always take the extra canvas but I guess you are right that since it would fit on top....
You learn something new everyday! Mine sits on the Horizon trailer so the canvas runs a little long and I fold it. I had thought that I would eventually shorten it to fit better, but I can't bring myself to actually have it cut down. I only put it up when the weather gets bad and I need a place to hang out.
