Between Larry Jay Mitsubishi in Charlotte, NC and Mitsubishi Motors NA I'm not having a good day!
Some of you may have read my "P0125 Code" thread and my exploits at fixing it. Replacing parts WILL NOT fix it! There is a problem with the PCM and it HAS to be flashed to correct a software error.
There are 2 TSB's on file with the NHTSA that remedy this DTC Code issue. TSB# 0313001 published 1/1/03 and TSB# 181505 published 4/1/05.
My Monty has 8 years of service history at Larry Jay between myself and the previous owner...thousands of dollars spent between the 2 of us and not even a hint of a goodwill gesture at flashing the PCM to correct my problem. The answer I got was it will be around $200!
So I call MMNA and the short answer is good luck, maybe your dealer will offer you a goodwill fix cause of the service history, and we cover NOTHING after the expiration of the warranty.
So, I'm pissed!
