ARB switches and compressor

It would be a big help if I could see or read some clever ways people have installed their ARB switches in their Discovery's. As well as logical placement for the compressor keeping it safe from heat, water, or dust. I have had a few ideas rattling around in my head for a while, but would probably regret not seeing or hearing other ideas or suggestions.

Thanks in advance,

Jeremy

I prefer the mechanical air switches and use a CO2 tank with manifold. Near fail proof.

How much air do those auxiliary tanks hold, and Is it refillable using on-board air from my arb compressor if I had to? Doing it that way I would only have to install one of the three switches. Thanks, I like that idea.

I put my switches where the sunroof switches go. You could also use a Mud pod to fit and put them on the dash. Link to pod --- http://lucky8llc.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=3834
I would put the compressor in the back where the jump seats go if you dont have them or behind the trim pieces in the back. We also put them under the hood where the jack goes.

I think the sunroof switch panel is the plan for now. That's the location I already had in mind, I just wasn't too sure about a custom panel and how it would look. I would preferably like the compressor inside the truck but I have rear jumpers and rear air so other than under the seat I'm out of space and ideas...I plan on putting a second battery where the jack is normally stored, otherwise it would go there.

I've put my switches lower left switch panel. Required quite a bit of dremel work to open it up to fit the switches.

I put the compressor where the jack goes. I mounted it on piece of wood which is bolted down using an existing hole that had a nut welded to it.

Here's some pictures:

Holy crap, you carry the mud pod too? You carry everything but tires!

Any pictures of that thing installed on a Disco?

Please forgive my ignorance and realize I have no locker experience(sigh:( )
Couldn't stock LR switches be used in the stock location for the pump and lockers? Much the same way you can with lights?

You could rework a stock switch to do that but you will need an ON / OFF switch like the fog switch. The some of the other switches are MOM ON/OFF. The difference is when you press the button in it stays down and the others just bounce back up.
