I've put my truck on here before, but here's sort of a fun photo. It's not on a beach in Kryzakistan, but it's a fun family moment, one of the little moments that add up into something great.

I took the top off my 110 earlier this summer to fix some corrosion issues, and it hasn't been put back on yet. Partially it's because I'm lazy, and partially I've just really enjoyed having it off and haven't felt like putting it back on.

Moved to AZ from GA.

I am instantly 1000% happier. This is 15 min from my place.

Yeah, you live in one of the "good parts" of Arizona. Congrats on the move. Enjoy it and don't ever leave. You'll regret it! I worked in Bullhead City, AZ (lived in Laughlin) for 3 years and it was damn hot...though I got used to it. Then I moved back, to Phoenix, almost two years later. Then left again. It's a great place to live; Flagstaff, Williams and Prescott are my favorite places to visit.

As soon as I read your comment, and knowing this time of year, I figured you lived in the higher elevations! That is a beautiful area.

Yeah, we're at 5600 feet so we never see the 100F temps that Tucson (1 hour N) does.

Monsoon now so the desert is blooming and it's jaw dropping with the difference cloud formations hovering between the peaks -- and the smell of all that wet earth, oh, goodness. And not a single whiff of industry since Tucson is a mountain range over. Infinite roads to explore and enjoy.

I stopped at Dale's (Rovertrader) this weekend to pickup what just might be one of the last CT roof racks floating around :ylsmoke:

He has quite a shop. A candy shop. Basically what every Rover fanatic wishes he had. I'm surprised I made it out of there with only the rack and a shoebox full of Hellas. He literally has everything, tons of it brand new -- he was even trying to pawn off on me some bizarre DII car-phone kit that he had. New in box of course. :sombrero:

Here he is next to a sweet D130 he's building. That roof rack is 15 feet long or so. You could carry an astonishing load. Notice the D90 peaking out from a pile of parts on the lift? The frame and running gear are brand new.

A few Discos lying around. And a pile of bumpers, brushbars, sliders, and skidplates. There's a pile of wheels you can't see -- probably 100+ :Wow1:

Anyway, no business affiliation with Dale other than as a customer, but he doesn't really advertise the extent of his bolt-on parts collection much -- I thought I would pass this along because I know for a bunch of us it's hard to get that one piece we must have (like a CT rack or G4 lampguards) that are tricky to find. Good chance he has it (or can get it).

That is the plan. exhaust and tune-up wednesday and hoping for gear change next week followed by lift and tires. I will wait awhile before I do winch bumper and sliders.

Thanks Felix!! Glad the trip went well, and must say I'm a bit envious as I was just out there a couple weeks ago, and love that area!! Enjoy my friend...
