Great to hear, @roamie! Doing a trip to use the system, with a little extra monitoring this first trip, will give you confidence in the system again. Enjoy your trip next week. We're going to head out today for a quick overnight trip. Speaking of which, I guess I better go load the truck and...
Slick. And I like that STV protected the conductors with with those sleeves.
That particular area the Superduty can experience some water drain from above. Might be worth taking a look next rain storm, or do a garden hose experiment, just to understand the path the water takes when it drains...
Regarding the 90degree vs straight cable, here is the Zorg website https://www.zorg-na.com/product/4210/ which shows some views of the housing and adaptors for various brand camera. In the picture of the various brand cameras, you can see some have the connector straight off the back which would...
For my 2024 Superduty, with digital cameras (360 camera package), I bought only the Zorg housing from Bob's Automotive Mirror's and more. You can buy only the Zorg housing, or the housing and the cable. I chose to source the cable from elsewhere because a digital cable is a digital cable and so...
It was a helpful post! (y) I was just trying to say that, while I only have experience with the other two models I mentioned, all the small Victron chargers are great and handy to have around.
Well, once it's awake, at least change charger to output 10 amps instead of 3amps. At 3amp, it will take 66 hours (not including charger inefficiencies) to charge each 200Ah battery. So 264hours to charge 800Ah (Four 200Ah batteries)! Ha.
Is it correct that you've removed all the conductors...
I've mentioned it before, but in hindsight, I would have skipped the pro power and done the 67B option (250A + 160A dual 12v alternators) like you. When I ordered, I didn't know the Pro Power meant a dedicated 24v alternator and I found out when my truck was already in production. I use Pro...
I don't have an IP65, but I do have two Victron IP22 (12v 30amp) for other uses. And a Victron IP67 Waterproof (24v 17amp) for 24v boat trolling motor battery bank. They have been very handy for all kinds of other projects besides their original. I have two generic LiFePO4 10amp chargers, too...
I'm not making any changes to the current camper or charging system until I know if we are replacing the camper. It is MUCH easier to spec these changes on a new build rather than retrofit. For the DC charger upgrades, the truck wiring is the easy part. But you also have to upgrade the...
Great! Glad you are up and running.
I think those instructions are conservative and there isn't really a need to disconnect anything. You are working with in-spec charging profile for all components and I see no downside to simply clipping on the chargers alligator clips to positive and...
I 100% agree with all those upgrades plus, on our list, A/C and induction cooktop. A/C is the only thing that cannot be retrofitted so still plotting to order a new Flagship LT in spring of 2027, with A/C and all the other upgrades we want, and sell our current Flagship LT. Wish list and still...
For those not familiar with the optional "plus" version of the Truma Combi, it contains an electric heating element that can be powered by 120v shore power, but it receives its own exterior wall plug separate from the camper's battery charger plug. That Combi Plus plug, on the camper exterior...

If you scroll down through the pics, with the front electronics cabinet panel tipped forward, it shows the location of the two Battery Protect BP-100 (up high...
Not sure what is going on if your temp is good. It may be because they are so discharged. Some batteries only allow very little charging current if they are extremely discharged (just like they do as they approach full charge). It may be they just need very slow, but steady charging to get them...
