    Any 7.3 gasser owners?

Quoting my own post (above for full details of last years trip, rig/setup, distance and mileage). That was 1,443 miles, with camper, resulting in 13.31mpg for entire trip. And now some more data from a similar trip a year later. Quick recap of rig: Pickup info: 2024 Ford F250 Supercab (so...

    Supertramp Flagship HT – Hard-sided Slide-in 6.5' Pickup Camper

I wouldn't be too concerned about it being a new model. As I mentioned, the roof itself is the same as the LT (dimensions, wiring, lights, fans/vents, etc) except a new mold was created to add the hard walls to the existing roof design. The layout, cabinetry, components, etc., from...

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

Love this data and your data collection method. I've not gone so far as to measure one gallon at a time, but just by seat-of-the-pants feel, your table would explain and align with that experience. I installed the camper for the season a few weeks ago and we just returned from a week long trip...

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

Hi @Steve_382 , Fairly straight forward and easy process to load and unload, but it just takes time. How much time will vary based on several things; How efficient you are at backing under the camper including making fine adjustments to get alignment and angle correct, if you use hand crank or...

Matt demonstrates the winterization process that is shared between the Flagship LT and HT.

    Supertramp Flagship HT – Hard-sided Slide-in 6.5' Pickup Camper

The 24 gallon water tank and water pump are located under the front bench which keeps center of gravity low and forward. One of the three heat ducts runs into the basement and has openings to blow on the water tank. Winterization is simplified because the entire plumbing system gravity drains...

    Supertramp Flagship HT – Hard-sided Slide-in 6.5' Pickup Camper

Here are some better shots of what the Supertramp LT and HT basement drawer look like. These are from our LT. We carry our 3-step stepstool, welcome matt, dust pan and dust broom, etc. in ours. I put a foam mat in the bottom to lessen wear and tear. Note that the camper interior mat has been...

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

They didn't say there was no treatment; They said there is no treatment needed. Meaning they sealed it so the owner doesn't need to treat it with anything (sealant, oils, etc.). (y) And when they say they like the material they used, because it flexes, they are referring to the polyurethane...

Supertramp Flagship LT pop-up slide-in pickup camper

@Crux When I discussed with STC, they said they use polyurethane to seal the bamboo and that "We really like the [polyurethane] that we use currently as it actually "flexes" with the material, which is great for the bamboo as it experiences different temperatures (expands and contracts). There...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

The Maxxair Deluxe fans are great. Not sure if they are direct replacement (opening, wire size, etc.) but really love how they work in the real world vs the standard. The electric opening/closing is a nice feature, though the gears are a bit noisy. You can manually crank the vent open and closed...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

All I'll say is the same 2,300 - 2,500lb on our F250 (with 3,195 payload capacity) is night and day difference over the Tundra's 1,255lb payload rating. But that goes without saying. And even more so with 3,000lb trailer/300lb tongue weight added. Handling, transmission, laid back engine rpm...

2020 Overland Explorer Vehicles (OEV) CAMP-X pop-up slide-in pickup camper (renamed "Back Country" as of 2023)

What was your front and rear axle weights on CAT scale (when loaded with camper, full water, supplies occupants, etc.)? And total payload? On our Tundra and CAMP-X, we always scaled about 2,400lb of payload, for all of that, when heading out on a week long trip (not counting tongue weight).

    Supertramp Flagship HT – Hard-sided Slide-in 6.5' Pickup Camper

Seat height can be tough since everyone's legs are different lengths. I find them about right. On a previous camper, our legs dangled from the dinette bench seats which is was incredibly uncomfortable. After sharing that observation, the manufacturer started putting in a raised floors and so...
