Hi Everyone,
The Jeep has been an incredible house on wheels for us for a year through twelve countries on three continents.
Now it's time for a round of upgrades to make it even better.
With these three upgrades it's easier to drive, more comfortable to drive and now has more storage space...
The bolt pattern on the Jeep 3.8 is *extremely* close to a lot of Mercedes stuff, because the NSG 370 6 speed is made by Mercedes.
When you buy a clutch, flywheel and throw out bearing for the 3.8 from a Jeep dealer they all have Mercedes part numbers and logos on them.
The bolt pattern on the...
But aren't the front doors longer than the rear doors, which is the whole reason to use all front doors?
Also I really like your idea, but the inside would be a pain I think.

This is incredible, thanks for bringing us along and for so many pictures.
I'm really curious what you do about that door triangle problem. If not for that it really would look factory.

To my eye, that looks like the "closeout kit" GR8Tops is releasing for the JL and JT to turn both of them into two doors.
If something like that had existed a few years ago I probably would have tried to build my camper on a JT.

Cheers. I just posted over there, hopefully people find all the info about shipping helpful.
Yes. I started work on The Road Chose Me Volume 3 (Australia) and have it about half done... but then I got a little sidetracked building a Jeep camper, then having a baby, then going to Iceland and...
Wow, that's crazy. Sorry you're dealing with all this
If they have the engine right now are they not able to measure the crank and see themselves that it's bent?
