So the hitch will be here Thursday. Got it from Valley for $108 with free shipping. Had a $100 credit from paypal they gave me so the hitch cost me $8. So it still mounts below the bumper and not through the bumper? Was hoping it was through.

Thanks, no Montero's in our two junkyards. That part the 4 bolts the hitch mounts to come off or is it part of the frame? There is another Montero running around up here that has no hitch and no bolt holes just wondering how it assembles.

Thank you. We are going to pull the hitch again hopefully and see if the vibrations and bouncing may be wearing on the inside of the tube. This does not seem like the stock hitch, so maybe it was one of those cheap ones?

I figured out what's different on pictures of the engine on other Montero's, Mines missing the Air Intake Cover on top of the engine. Besides cosmetic looks is this a needed item? Anyone got an extra? Thanks

Thanks, had the Service Manual but not the ASA program. Very handy. Looks like the left front window regulators out. I've located a replacement but how do you get it out of the door? Manual's a bit sketchy on that.

Another update: Driver's side is " fixed " Nothing wrong with the regulator or motor. The plastic clips that hold to the bottom of the window glass were busted off allowing the window to slip all the way down and out of the channel. Handful of nylon zip ties fixed it right up. Works like a...
