After many years of "overlanding" on a 1978 Boatel house boat on Lake Powell, I have to say one of the things I miss most is sleeping "on top" under the awesome night skies, while having the option to go inside in bad weather. While not for everyone, I think that this is a great feature on this...
That is the plan. We are currently talking to Alcan and Carli about the suspension upgrades to finalize my ongoing build. We have done the Camino and some local stuff here in Colorado, but I wasn't sure of it on the BDR. Turns out, it would have been OK.
Thanks for your ongoing posts in this...
We just did "most" of the Idaho BDR in the 4 runner w/ RTT with our friend who had previously done it on his adventure bike. Like you guys we used the route as a general guideline, and modified it as we desired. It was a great trip lasting about 10 days. It really gave a great overview of the...
Could you expand on this? The only mid-ship diesel tanks I can find are for crew cabs, or in the removed spare tire location. Nothing for the "extended" cab mid-ship.
Thanks
I am told that the diesel 's smaller fuel tank is a result of the room required for the DEF tank.
I can find no replacement tank for the SuperCab (only Crew Cab), and the the only auxillary tank that I can find is a Titan 30 gallon that mounts in the factory spare tire location.

I too have spent a bunch of time researching additional fuel options for my 2016 Supercab with an Outfitter 6.5 slide in pop up camper, and, like you, have not liked any of...
Could you expand a little on the rack system? Did they source it for you, or is it an in house, custom product?
Either way, it is an awesome addition! Thanks for sharing.

My wife has the exact same vehicle in white with 256K on the clock with only routine dealer maintenance with the exception of shocks and new cv joints at 200K. Oh yeah, and a new battery a couple of winters ago.
Yours is light years cleaner. Beautiful job maintaining it in that condition.

Big thanks to you, Doug, (and Ace) for getting this done. Kim is very excited about her new trailer!
And for future reference, you will not find a better seller than Doug. He went out of his way to make sure I knew exactly what I was getting with no surprises when I picked it up, and was...
