Correct. But in your initial post, you posted a Tahoe. So if you can squeeze 8 people in a Tahoe you can squeeze 8 people in an Expedition.

Like I’ve said, I’ve pretty well packed a similarly sized Expedition with only 2 people.
Why mount it on the driver side? With the driver and fuel tank on that side, that side of the vehicle is not light.
I do like the idea of the tool box, but I carry everything I need in a tool roll.
