Bringing this one back to the forefront of the thread. Been getting water intrusion via the doors and need to address it. Has anyone done anything different on a Tundra, or @dstefan , do you have some pictures of the sealing on the tailgate sides to the bed, please?
Well, it'd be a damn slow drive. Its timing is set for 7000k feet, the steering is loose and the brakes aren't the best w the 33s. No AC either, so, the current temps aren't that great for extended driving.
2nd gen Cummins are solid trucks for sure, but where I live in AZ, 4wd is a requirement...
Havent been to a regular wash, but the high-bays do well.
If I need the truck all the way in the garage, like when I pulled the diffs recently, I take the solar panel off the top, air the tires down to 5 PSI, and empty the airbags. Fits by an inch or so height wise through the door, and clears...
I really did, and as my first non-topper camper, I was really impressed by the quality. Mario and Martyn make a great product, and I've known them for 20 years or so when they had the old shop in CA.
However, I didnt like the setup time that it took, and grew to not like the amount of room it...
Depends on the width of the four. I slept 2 adult and one 7yo with one 10yo for a few years. Then moved the two kids down to the bed of the truck on a sleeping platform. Its cozy, but it works.
This is in a 2014 Tundra w the 6.5' bed.
