Note: If you buy tires from WalMart.com you don't have to have them install. You can take them to any shop or do it yourself. ( If you have the equ. )

Best iPhone e-sim provider for England

Jupiter, I second the Fi plan. As long as they let you use it? I got kicked off the data side after about two months the first two trips, now they won't let me use data, so I just keep it on the $25 plan for phone and text. I have been using Maya for esim data as they have the lowest cost that...

    Favorite Budget Tires?

You can have your cake and eat it too. For years now I have been buying the Cooper A/T's at Walmart when they go on sale. To be clear, I am not a stock holder or employee of either company. I do believe the way we stop job loss in our country is to support people building good product at a good...

    E350 Adventurer 19rd X Series???

It looks like Fraserway / ALP is finally getting serious about selling the 19rd. ( In the USA. ) There is a picture at the show showing a $175,000 price. If this is CAD that would be about $127,000 USD No listing for this yet on Fraserway's website? Not much info beyond what they are sharing...

Any full size regular cab 6.5 bed trucks?

Dan, I would also agree with the " Keep what you got " idea. In my case, I did not want to buy some one else's problem. I found a 30+ year old fiberglass camper body for my single cab short bed F-150. ( 6.5' ) Beefed up the leaf springs, put on E Range tires and replaced all of the parts I...

1991 Dodge W250 Overland Tourer Build and Adventures

Yes, based on they type of travel and places I go it was something that I felt was worthwhile. I don't have any pictures of it open but here is one showing the rough framing / opening during contruction. The power center and water tank was removed.I built an all new electric system and placed...

1991 Dodge W250 Overland Tourer Build and Adventures

In dealing with my NL 6.10 build for long term overland travel, I could not agree with you more about the " L shaped dinette " getting in the way. In addition, building in more storage is a plus. I removed the L bench that sticks out into the walkway as I wanted a pass thru to the drivers...

Why the big price difference between flatbed and slide-in??

I sold my Chevy bed on Craigslist and my Ford bed on FB Marketplace. Just research what the junk yards are selling them for and be a bit cheeper. Given that the Tundra is lower production should make it easy to sell.

1991 Dodge W250 Overland Tourer Build and Adventures

Vanis, Looks great, the w250 Cummings is a great platform. I put a Sunrader F.G. body on my 93 and a Northern Lite 6.10 on my F-150 that I am using now. Keep up the good work...

Northern Lite 610 for 1/2 Ton PU

I will quickly jump back in on this topic as an update to reinforce my / our point. The N.L. 6.10 was great the way it was, after over 3 months driving around N. America and Europe the weight and size is great for my 2003 F-150. The roads in the UK and Ireland are very tight and you don't want...

Why the big price difference between flatbed and slide-in??

Armstrom, DirtWhiskey hit the nail on the head, E.O.S. If your able and not willing to pay more like me, buy a new or used traditional TC, pull the bed, and build your own flat bed with extra storage or room. I sold the the truck beds in both of my examples pictured for $500+ each. This covered...
