I will skip head to some recent developments, plumbing is complete, apart from the showers, final install result, a lot of leaky false starts but has been presureized for about 2 months now and no (more) leaks, thermal expansion in grey and accumulator in red: Kitchen plumbing finally done...

I have been trying and failing to find out how backward compatible the MB OEM spec is, for instance can I use a fully synthetic oil with MB 228.51 spec? The manual states 228.0/1 oils, of course the superceding specs where not available when the manual was printed? I found the following info...

Took a couple a days last week and fitted the solar panels, nice to get that out of the way: Sika 554 worked really really well! I picked a special purpose profile for max contact area. I also sanded the bonding panel with 100 grit to remove the gloss/gelcoat. Very happy with the results: 1)...

Do you have the MB chassis builder guide? Extending members are bolted not welded in the guide, and in the EU it is not allowed to weld directly to the chassis at. Our new exhaust exits right down under the air tanks facing down as opposed to the side. I can get a picture later.

Great info here, and I know you wanted replies from fellow yanks but I have to say, the OM366 engine parts are mostly generic, esp fuel system, air fittings, belts and hoses. These engines are also in most CLAAS machines and parts lists online in the EU are quite hard to find, mostly of course...
