Thanks for your response @DC DII
Most of them I find on FB not so much on online car websites such as cars.com.
106-120 the mileage range on most of them.
Thanks @DC DII
Did you drive a European model and then shipped it to the US?
I am totally aware of the fact that it won't be a 90's 4Runner. What I don't want is a constant breakdown.
Like you said I also want to keep it relatively long term, maybe about 6-8 years.
Have you done any work on...
Hi guys,
What can you tell me about the LR3? generally speaking, is it worth it?
I live in CT and often see LR3 parked in the suburbs of NYC quite often. I am sure some of those people would like to sell it.
8K is my budget. I am/was going to get a Subaru Outback but I saw my buddies Lr3 and...
It is really hard to find a GM with a passenger package while I found a few Fords with a similar package.
As long it is reliable, relatively affordable and is ok for long distant driving I don't care about the brand.
A church by me is selling their Econoline. That's what caught my curiosity...
If you compare the GM Savana vans to the Ford Ecoline vans, how would they compare?
Which one is better in terms of ride quality and overall realibility?
Everyone I know who started in small trucks and later on had families had to move on to a half ton or to a 3/4 ton.
When you factor how much stuff you need to carry in a relative comfort, plus safety you don't have a choice. Even a 1/2 ton might seem small.
I know a guy who regrets not getting...

Is it 500 miles? 1000?
My classmate drove his Dodge Dakota from Buffalo NY to Cleavland OH in a snowstorm. He was on interstate and put the car 4h as soon as the blizzard started. The T-case gave up not...
Cheaper to buy yes, but does it really have better room in the bac and better payload?
One thing I like with Ford is that you can get a low trim still get a locker. You don't have to go to higher trims like Toyota or Nissan is making you. I would totally be fine with an XL or XLT with a...
@jaywo
Nissan Titan XD Pro-X. Comes with a locker and 2000lb payload. They are between 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton.
They are affordable yet simple and comfortable. @PirateMcGee has one.
Check out his thread under Nissan.
Thanks. So, it's not necessarily a simple engine even though it's a pushrod engine.
Complexity isn't always a bad thing, but it's worth keeping it in mind.
