is the suspension the same from 2001-2006? the reason i ask is i have a 2006 and i found the arb suspension at a good price but it lists it as 2001. i went to the arb website as well and the place i found it uses a different product code. for example ome918. thanks, joe

i agree with auto being "from the factory" better for wheeling. although i havent done much to any yet in my montero here are a few thing i notice about my 3rd gen. i can see where the tiptronic would help with decents as you can control what gear it is in and effectively use it to engine break...

what offset wheels did you choose? i think the factory is offset is +46 i was looking at some 16in wheel with +20 offset after lifting the montero? i wanted a wider stance to lower COG.

front and rear diff 80w-90 gl5 oil transfer case 75w-90 gl4 tranny diamond sfiii atf fluid you can change viscositys to suite the climate. you can use the universal coolant. there are 2 coolant jacket drain plugs on the block. they are a pain to break loose with limited space.

yea you probably need to retighten them they stretch a little when there new.
