Lynn:
I owned a Travco 220 for many years and was looking to buy another one before I purchased a Bluebird Wanderlodge. I think Travcos are great motorhomes. They are extremely solidly build with bombproof engines and transmissions. It's hard to say whether the $700 Travco is a good buy or not. What year and model is it? The early ones had 318 engines and most later ones the 413 or 440. I think they all had the 727 three speed transmission. There were some that were built (like some GMC's) as all electric version. No propane at all with electric refrigerators. I don't like them because they have to be plugged in all the time the generator is not running. Do you have any pictures of the one for sale?
