On the super singles I had built for my Fuso (16") I had value holes on both sides of the wheel and just ran flush valve cores in all positions.
No clearance worries on the inside position and nothing to get ripped off on the outside or inside position.
We seem to be 'understanding' differently. Air-rides seats (which I am singing the praise for) are 1000% different than the suspension seats that use straps that you have pictured.
You are correct, 'real' air-ride seats will not fit in a Fuso, unless you find a set of LKW/Unimog seats which...
I'll have to disagreed with your air ride analysis. I put a 23 (ya, twenty three) way air-ride in my C4500 Kodiak and it was the world's best improvement. Perfect ride (with no expensive change to front and rear suspension). Easy to dial in for amount of suspension and easy to chance for road...
WOW awesome to see one for sale. :D
These are so rare (I spent two years looking for mine, and only saw two, the one I bought (a 300) and the other one (a 400) was included with a Power Wagon).
And to having been gone through by a former EC Tech is the frosting on the cake.
I love mine. GLWTS
Safety wiring is done when there is not a 'nut end'. If there is a 'nut', that is the preferred end of the fastener.
There are also locking tabs, but those are usually specific to an application.
You can used safety wire
PS- those pigtails should be bent or the next mechanic is going to want to kick your a** (and both would not pass aviation standards)
On my stock suspension 2002 FG my 37s fit with zero issues front and rear (box truck body). [right around 100k for miles, it was a furniture delivery truck in Colorado prior to my ownership, no heavy loads, so I would guess, little to no 'sag' on the stock suspension]
Wait until you install your super-singles before you start planning suspension changes. When I swapped from stock wheels/tires to 37/12.5-16s (Falken Wildpeak, NLA? so, 37s on17s now?) it was a world of difference for not only ride quality, but also cab noise as the cruise RPM dropped so much...
That video is a good reference. With your prior experience with 'blinking light codes' you are way ahead of the power curve as that is confusing to many.
I've PMed you a link to my Dropbox account for the manual. If you want/need the Fuso Body Builder manuals (2 volumes) I have those also.
It has been a while so my memory is foggy, but you can read codes (and reset error codes) by using the plugs (that act as 'switches') that are on the passenger side, under the flip down panel which has the windshield washer fluid tank.
If you need a copy of the 2005 Fuso Maintenance Manual, PM...
